Horus AI
Does the Horus AI edge server require replacing cameras?
No. Horus AI uses a retrofit approach and can connect directly to existing cameras. As long as the cameras can output video streams, no hardware replacement or rewiring is required.
How many camera channels can one edge AI server handle?
One Horus AI edge server supports concurrent analysis of 600 camera channels. For a mid-to-high-end residential community of about 200,000 square meters, 2,000 households, and 300 cameras, one server can cover the main monitoring points.
How much does a community property security retrofit cost?
With a retrofit approach, one edge AI server costs about RMB 50,000 as a one-time purchase. Algorithm configuration and commissioning are typically RMB 10,000 to 20,000, with later algorithm updates costing several thousand RMB per year. Compared with a full replacement plan costing RMB 300,000 to 400,000, the upfront investment can be reduced by more than 80%.
How long does a retrofit deployment take?
No construction, rewiring, or interruption to the existing system is required. After the edge AI server is connected to the surveillance network, algorithms can be configured and launched on the same day.
How much can property-fee collection improve?
AI real-time alerts, automatic work orders, and resident-side notifications help property companies make service processes visible. The exact improvement depends on the project’s current service level, resident structure, and execution workflow.
Where is the data stored? Is it secure?
Horus AI supports local deployment. Video data and AI analysis results can be stored on the project’s local edge server and do not need to be sent to the cloud, meeting property-scenario data-security requirements.
Which camera brands are supported?
It supports mainstream camera brands such as Hikvision, Dahua, Uniview, and Tiandy, as well as cameras connected through RTSP, ONVIF, or GB28181.
Smart Property Assistant
What resident requests can the Smart Property Assistant handle?
It can automatically handle common resident needs such as repairs, complaints, inquiries, and property-fee questions. It also converts AI detection results into work orders, assigns them to the right staff, and supports both the property workbench app and resident mini program.
